Jessica P. Hekman lives in Arlington, Massachusetts. She ventured into the real world in 1995 with a degree in Medieval History and Literature. She has put it to good use at O'Reilly Media, Inc. (as a production assistant, assistant system administrator, author, and developer working on online books), at ZDNet (as a developer), and Curl Corporation (where she is currently programming and vesting).
